“Write in your native language” feature

Today we are proud to announce the new “Write in your native language” feature, available now for all users!

You can write in your native language in addition to the language you are learning.

By writing in your native language, correctors can see what you were aiming to write, and can also learn from your native language.

1. Select “Write a new entry” below your profile image to access the edit page.

2. In the “Text” box, write a journal in the language you are learning.

3. In the “Also write in your native language(optional)” box, write the same content in your native language

Note: You do not have to use the native language feature. You can post journals only in the language you are learning.

3. Your new journal will then be published in two languages, as shown below:

To switch the display style, click on “Vertical view”.

In “Vertical view”, your native language journal will be displayed next to your original entry as seen below

A gray-colored “With native lang” label will be added next to the title as seen below.

This label helps potential correctors to see if your post contains a translation or not.

We hope your find this new feature useful!
